Curtis Fleming
Fleming started his career off playing for St Patrick’s FC in 1990 and after successful year at the club he moved on to sign for Middlesbrough. He made his debut for the club during the 1991-92 season, making 28 appearances and went on to spend 10 years at the club, leaving for Crystal palace in December 2001. At Boro, Fleming was one of the clubs most consistent football players. Having the adaptability to play in either full back position. He played 10 times for the Republic of Ireland during his career.
Robbie Mustoe
Mustoe started his career off playing for Oxford United in 1987 and spent in total three years at the club. He moved to Middlesbrough at the start of the 1991-92 season. He was viewed as the Middlesbrough ‘workhorse.’ He was a highly experienced player, who was an attacking threat when breaking out of his midfield position. In total Mustoe made over 300 appearances for Boro before moving on to play for Charlton in 2002 and then finished his career off playing for Sheffield Wednesday in 2003.
Alan Moore
Moore started his career off playing for Middlesbrough in the 1991-92 season. He came through the ranks at the club and steadily improved during his spell there. His great play helped Boro earn promotion to the top flight at the end of the 1994-95 season. Moore is able to play in the centre of midfield or he can use his neat skills and pace in a wider role.
Phil Stamp
Stamp started his career off playing in the first division for Boro during the 1993-94 season. Stamp’s bullocking style soon became a familiar site at the Riverside stadium and he soon became a real favourite with the Boro supporters. At the club, he was a tidy and strong competitor who had great determination. He was very much part of their promotion winning side to the premiership during the 1997-98 campaign. |
